Kent describes himself as a music school misfit...
"I graduated just to spite them."
He is well-traveled, having played in 38 states, Canada, and Japan. He played for two seasons at Dollywood, where he played with Amy Daley. During that same time he also played with Amy in a local house band.
Following his time in Dollywood, Kent spent two and a half years playing clubs and casinos with Rockie Lynne.
His favorite drummer is John Bonham, but Kent appreciates anyone who can "put the groove to it." He's a music lover from birth, and truly likes all styles. His solid playing makes him a favorite with dancers.
